- A curse is on its way, and God makes a special promise to punish his priests in such pleasant ways as spreading dung on their faces. Even after four hundred or so years of prophetic scriptures, God still has a few surprises up his metaphorical sleeve.
- Malachi says, C’mon people, we’ve go the same father; can’t we all just get along?
- He warns them not to give up on their relationship with God. They seem to have gotten everything backwards.
